Perfect if you find yourself readerless

I bought this product when the card reader on my laptop, for one reason or another, decided to just break on me. For a while I used the connecting cables that came with my phone and digital camera, but it just took long, and with today's technology, it's hard to not turn instantly impatient the second something takes slightly longer.

So I decided to scour the net and find a simple SD card reader which would plug into my USB slots, and I came up with the Datafab one. None of the products I could find had any reviews on them, so I took the second cheapest there and thought "what the hey, I'll give it a shot".

The Datafab one worked instantly. Like all USB products these days, it was a simple plug-and-play machine which was incredibly simple to use. For a simple adapter, I wasn't expecting anything else after all.

You simply plug it into your USB slot, put your memory card in and hey presto, it works like a charm. I've had it several months now and haven't had any problems with it, so so far so good. It's worked every time I've wanted to use it and seeing I take a lot of photos and move things from memory card to computer all the time, it's been a hell of a life saver.

All in all, Id' recommend this product or if not this precise one then one very much like it if every you're tired of using the slow connectivity cables you got with your products. While it's not an 8-in-1 like you see on some others, it did exactly what I wanted and the simplicity behind it being just SD card is probably what makes it sturdy and good quality, as it's not trying too much at once. This one was cheap and is to this still incredibly reliable. Worth a try
