Rover 214 Si ... bought a 1998 rover 200 sli. It was automatic and stunning it had sports alloys and metallic blue paint.I paid 2000 and part ex d a vauxhall caviller. The car ran fine for a year then the problems started... The first thing to go was the gear box. I noticed a whirring noise when i drove and asked my dad to check it over. He told me straight away it was the gear box. So i set out to have it repaired but had to ring around 30...yes 30 different garages to finally find a specialist to fix it as it was automatic. The job cost 355 to repair. I thought all was well and was quite happy after that. (that was september of 2006) in the november the next month i had the brake pipe... Citroën C3 ... bought my citroen c3 2 yrs ago when it was just over 2yrs old, 1.4i desire, and have found it a lovely car to drive, very reliable and comfortable. It seems to have so many little features like the courtesy lights, interior central locking activiation, manual and electronic child locks, speed warning function, door open warning - lights flash and alarm sounds (very useful when I forgot to put the child lock on and my grandson opened the rear door oops!) However I hadn t realised how much I took for granted until I was involved in a minor bump (not my fault!) and the car was taken in for repair. Chevrolet Cobalt in General ... Cobalt is Chevrolet s compact automobile, available in sedan and coupé bodystyles. It s also offered with Pontiac specification as the Pontiac G5. I ve spent some time with rental Cobalts. Being more used to European cars, when I first saw the Cobalt side-on I instantly recognised a hint of the profile of the Vauxhall / Opel / Saturn Astra. The cars share a platform and some mechanicals, but the Cobalt is definitely much less sophisticated than the Astra, which will soon be on sale in the US and Canada as a Saturn.
