Peugeot 309:
... me establish right from the start that I don't drive. I never have. I never want to! Both hubby and son drive, so I have a chauffeur if I need to get anywhere, so why should I worry about driving? Anyway, I digress! Hubby passed his test first time in 1971, and since that date has only ever had 5 cars. The last two have both been Peugeot 309's. Our D registration Peugeot was red, and a very basic model... BMW Mini One ... my eyes have cocked it up big time with this one, as a proud owner of a Rover Mini Cooper I am disgusted by these "efforts" that BMW have produced and stuck the famous Mini name on it! They are almost double the size of an old Mini and look a lot closer to a Ford KA than the classic Mini. Fair play to them for trying to bring back a classic but some classics are best left alone. I am dreading the remake of the Italian Job! THEY AINT MINIS! ... Read the full review: They aint Mini's! by West_Ham_Dan |

Fiat Punto (1994-99) ... I purchase my brand new 3 door Punto 60 SX in the summer of 98 from the main Fiat dealership in Warwick, making this an S reg, the price was £8,800, which included the metallic paint job. Engine size 1198cc. Things were looking good, the car was great, well it was brand new. There were three main reasons I plumped for this car originally. Firstly was the test drive. Although it's only a 1.2 it was still quite nippy, the drive was smooth and the engine noise was minimal. I took it on a duel carriageway to open it up a little and again I was surprised at its performance. Very quick for a small engine initially but once the 5th gear is used the power is gone. Second... Ford Fiesta Ghia ... really do love my 'P' reg Ford Fiesta Ghia, it is a pleasure to drive. This is only my second car ever - the first being a Vauxhall Corsa Envoy so whilst I do not have experience of many cars I know what I like and I do like the Fiesta Ghia. It is nippy, comfortable, handles well and last but not least a good looking car. It only had one previous owner and he obviously took very good car of it. It has a very low mileage and a spotless interior. I have owned the car for almost nine months now and it has only had one problem. About three days after buying it from the garage, I was driving along a country road when the engine just stopped for no reason. ... Read the full review: A Joy to Drive! by jeanettepulley |
