Alfa Romeo 147:
... purchased a used alfa romeo 147 lusso approximately 7 months ago. I have always wanted a 147 to call my own ever since learning to drive 4 years ago and was extremely happy to have managed to buy an 03 plate red alfa at what I thought was a great price for its condition-£2800! I was warned before hand by several people that alfas are notorious for their electrical faults but chose not to pay attention, within a mat... Kia Carens in general ... 2003 Kia Carens 1.8LX was brought 2nd hand last year from an independent car trader. I was looking for something that was reasonably modern, well equipped, well serviced and reasonably low milage, oh yes and.......CHEAP! Having heard that a Kia might fit the bill I began an internet search of relevant databases. I at first Settled on the Kia Rio but after three disapointing trials(found it to be to basic, small and noisey) I noticed a local dealer selling a Carens 1.8 LX ,one owner,55000 miles, full service history and the photos had me salivating nearly as much as the price £1900 pounds! One quick examination and test drive later, I was the proud owner of said vehicle.No... Read the full review: KIA CARENS 1.8 LX (2003) by snipe1 |

Subaru Impreza 2.0Turbo ... I had finally owned my dream car and was I disapointed..... NO WAY. This review is for the Subaru Impreza WRX import, so slightly faster than the UK version, which I would advise on any Subaru Impreza wanna be owner to consider before going for the UK version. Imports aren t scarey. No far from it... I purchased the WRX as a M reg (which had to be registered once it was imported (private seller)). It came into the UK as G.A.S powered which was new to me but was easily converted to Petrol. It also came with extas (like most imports) OZ racing alloys, Magnex stainless exhaust which boosted the total BPH from 260bph standard to 275/280bhp. The only trouble I had was wit... Citroen C1 Vibe ... partner has a c1 which we find a great little car though i think that the boot could be bigger as you cant get more that 4 or 5 full carrier bags of shopping in it and although only 2 years old seems to be blowing on the exhaust, we had it checked when it went for a service last month and they just said that is not blowing but sounds a bit rough sometimes as it is a small bore pipe, not the response that we were hoping for but a good run around cheap car, the more you pay as with all things the more little extras you get but i feel that things like having to open the boot with the key could have been replaced with a press button on the boot lid for not very much more m...
