Citroën AX: ... first car was a citroen ax, I bought it in may 2005 for £225 with 10 months mot and tax and 61k on the clock. I still have it but have stopped using it which I will go into later. It broke down twice, once when the thermostat stuck closed and caused it to overheat, and another time when the headgasket went . It has got 89500 on the clock now and has been brilliant, the stuff i have replaced are brakes head ...

DavyMichelle Citroën AX
... used to have a Citroen AX some years ago now and really loved it, so when my middle child passed her test and we started to look at cars, I looked favourably at the N reg Citroen AX we saw advertised on the Auto Trader website. My daughter preferred the P reg Ford Fiesta which was close in price range, but I managed to dissuade her after she realised that it wouldn t last long with 100,000 miles on the clock whereas the Citroen we looked at had only done 65,000 miles. The car I used to have was a five door Memphis edition (in the nineties) and the car my daughter now drives is a three door Elation edition, so I ve had some experience of both. The Memphis is a 1.1l e...

... bought one for my wife, second-hand from our local dealership. 20,000 miles on it. It s been a complete nightmare, dodgy front springs, replacement suspension due to poor paint production process at factory, and worst of all ... persistent Engine Management problems. Light always coming on ... faulty accelerator sensor, throttle sensor. Now it s out of warranty they tell us to have it fixed is going to cost £615! I informed them that there was no way I was going to throw yet more good money after bad. Still have a year to pay on it ... NO WAY WILL we EVER buy a Citroen of ANY description ever again. It s got too much technology on board for its own good (i.e. mo...

Angela Citroën C3
... bought my citroen c3 2 yrs ago when it was just over 2yrs old, 1.4i desire, and have found it a lovely car to drive, very reliable and comfortable. It seems to have so many little features like the courtesy lights, interior central locking activiation, manual and electronic child locks, speed warning function, door open warning - lights flash and alarm sounds (very useful when I forgot to put the child lock on and my grandson opened the rear door oops!) However I hadn t realised how much I took for granted until I was involved in a minor bump (not my fault!) and the car was taken in for repair. I was issued with a 57 plate Ford Fiesta courtesy car - I am not fuss...
