Fiat Punto 1.2 3dr: ... was with a budget of £10,000 to buy a new car, with low insurance and not to ripped off. Having scoured the internet, I sourced many little hatchbacks which could have a bright future parked on my driveway and i whittled it down to the Ford Focus bang on £10000, Fiat Punto at £7000 and a Renault Clio at £8450. These cars are brand new, however they do not have brand new prices. Companies buy a fleet of these v...

girly_nat Fiat Cinquecento
... past my test January last year, and all i could moan on about to my parents was 'i want a car, i need a car, everyones got a car except me!!' 'You don't know how annoying it is to be able to drive and not own a car!' Of course being not much of a saver shall we say, i had no cash to actually by a car, hence my constant complaining. My parents lent me £800 maximum to get a car, so i had to think hard on what i wanted out of a vechile apart from getting from A to B. I didn't really know anything about cinquecento's when i found my M reg, basic model. As i was a new driver i wasnt used to anything apart from a corsa, so i didn't find the ...

andycharger Fiat Seicento Sporting 3dr
... frankly im lost. Yes, for the last 2 months I have been rattling around in a Fiat Seicento Sporting and by now I know every small inch of the car. That is mainly because it is so small, I take up most of the room in it. Sitting under the bonnet is a noisy and somewhat underpowered 1.1 litre engine. Saying that, what do you expect from an engine that would be more at home powering 2 wheeled transport rather than 4! The engine is very noisy and at higher spe...

lordted Fiat Punto in general
... bought this Punto 1.2 ELX new in March 2002 and as this was the fifth Punto that I have owned, I thought I knew what I was getting into. I have driven a lot of other cars but I always seem to come back to this charismatic little car. Some painless negotiating at Piccadilly Fiat in Ripon soon sorted me out with 35% deposit on a £9,800 car, leaving me with a comfortable 0% finance deal of £135 a month for 4 years. A 5 door model, in black with burgundy cloth interior, extras included side airbags, a CD player, 6 speaker stereo with factory fit subwoofer in the boot, boot protector, carpet mats and 6 spoke alloy wheels. Obviously, for this price you are not going to be ...
