Land Rover Freelander in general ... Freelander 2L TD4 55 plate commercial. Cost £7999 + VAT Having heard the bad press of the freelander i was very reluctant to even view this vehicle when my girl friend spotted this at our Local stratstone dealer. But it did tick all the requirements i needed for a work vehicle. Good load space in the back. ( it doesnt differ in praticallity to my old Renault Kangoo van) Able to tow a decent sized trailer. (towing weight 2000kg) Good offroad reports Looks the business Great MPG, i had 38mpg off road ing and can get 41mpg if being ultra careful And girlfiend liked it!!! Oh and space for the dog! Land Rover Discovery ... what can I say we were loaned a Discovery not just any discovery a brand new Discovery 2 HLS. This was because we had a small accident in our beloved Range Rover so it was not that we were not used to driving such a large vehicle that I write this particular review. I have to say I hated the whole experience, it was to say the least with a very glad heart when we had to give it back. Where to start.? The outside looked the part nice shiney new reasonably good looking for the squarish shape. The inside well that was something else entirely, Plastic dashboard and fittings vinyl everywhere with bits of leather in some places. Leather seats which were hard to keep ... Land Rover Defender 110 ... Land Rover Defender is Land Rover s first, and in lots of people s opinion, best 4x4 offroader made. It s a British icon. The stylish has been around since it was first created, with very little change. It s slightly less boxy than it once was, but other than that it s pretty much unchanged. Inside (you have to climb up, which makes you feel like you re getting into a proper 4x4), it s a no-frills cabin, with few creature comforts. There are heated seats, but this is mainly because they are a necessity in places like the Arctic. There s a decent amount of legroom in both the front and the back.
