Mini in general: ... without having to resort to using the back seats and how useless it is for transporting larger objects. You have to think twice about whether a self-assemble shelf from Ikea would fit or not. Good thing about the size is that it's easy to park and how you can squeeze through small gaps that most cars wouldn't be able to. The length (10 ft) is not a short as a Smart Car nowadays or those weird little electric cars...

Car - Mini Special Mini Special
Car / BMW have finally done it. After months of 'sneak previews' and pictures plastered around various media, they're now showing the new Mini. They've done for the Mini what VW did for the Beetle. Hoping to milk the success of the past with a modern interpretation of a classic, ...

... I took it in, put the whole thing behind me and over the years went through a selection of other vehicles. Until earlier this year. I started to get all misty-eyed over old Minis, and I just had to have one again. I scoured the local free-ads, which turned up a surprising number of them, and I rushed off there and then to see a 1983 primrose yellow Mini Sprite. Well, this was truly a thing of beauty. 950 quid of well-restored well-loved car, with a 1000cc engine and all the right smells. ... me £40 it had at least 3 months on the MOT and had recently been serviced (or so I was told), it was a private sale and I was never to see the previous owner again after the sale. My Mini wasn't of the souped up Cooper variety, it had a 750cc engine, four doors, plastic covered seats, too many miles on the clock and a lot of optional extras like rust and dents? It was a faded orangey/red colour and had squeaky wipers that were more for show than usefulness. It had no radio and the heater didn't work, but what the hell it was summer and I could sing to myself while driving! When I first got into it I was surprised by how much room there was in the driving seat,...

... mini inside here. Its spacious, comfortable and luxorious. The rear leg room is quite small still but the seats are out of this world. The Full leather interior is something a little bit special. Not the usual soft badly wearing type but a firm sporty looking type that will last years and years. The Dash keeps the large speedometer in the middle as in the original and the vertical mount steering wheel makes you think that you are driving a cart rather than a car. Front passenger and driver room is huge. You really can stretch out in comfort here. Handling. Fantastic. Throwing it into bend...
