So, here s a few good and bad points which may help you to decide whether or not to follow suit. Good: Looks - retro, but with a modern interpretation Handling - drives like it s on rails Fun -you ll struggle to find a car which makes you smile quite as much Servicing - 5 years/50000 miles for one hundred pounds Bad: Build quality - lots of squeaks and rattles reveal themselves quite quickly Image - especially with stripes. 	Mini in general ... bought my Mini Cooper S in October last year and thoroughly love the car (even though I ve rated it 3/5). If you re single or in a relationship without kids then the Mini is a great car but if you are ever going to require ANY leg space in the rear or the car or to put more than a few bags of shopping in the boot this car is definitely not for you. I adore my mini and it ticks all the right boxes for me, it surprisingly has a very good MPG for it s class as a 300 mile drive to my parents house I ll average 43 MPG, it s reliable, it s fun and as common as they are each Mini is also unique to itself as there are so many options available. 	Mini in general ... have wanted the new shape Mini since it was released in 2006, and last year i finally bit the bullet and bought a Mini Cooper S. My reasons for not purchasing one sooner was mainly due to the price of a "new" mini. A cooper S was around £16500 when it was launched and could quite easily reach £20,000 with a few extras, which i felt was quite steep for a hot hatch! So i waited until the second hand prices fell and managed to pick up a very high spec cooper s for half the new price. The cooper S has a 1.6 Supercharged engine boasting 175 Bhp, although you will find that the later model (R56) has a turbo charged engine which produces around the same power. I pe...
