Nissan Almera 1.5 16v SE 5dr:
... floor! Overtaking is also quite an experience, as you need to plan it well in advance, give yourself plenty of passing time, and drop the car to third or fourth gear and floor the accelerator to even get even a glimmer of speed from the very unresponsive engine. And the slightest incline, even on a motorway, sees the speedometer needle drop by 10mph to 20mph! Talk about frustrating?

Nissan Maxima ... bought my first NISSAN MAXIMA in the U.S., and loved it. Now We are here in Spain, and purchased another Maxima 2.0/ litre job. It has done 162,000 miles, so far, with only a rebuilt air-con unit. The car is smooth and very quiet, with what I consider one of the best engines in any car that I have owned. In the U.S. we drove various American and German models over the years, but none can match this car dollar for dollar, pound for pound.... Read the full review: THE GREAT MAXIMA by RON GREEN |

Nissan Micra SE in general ... of pressing down to grind quickly to a halt. It is easy to drive, very manouverable. In fact I remember a boast that it is also supposed to have the smallest turning circle in its class. The doors shut with a comforting clunk, a quality sound. They dont spring out your hand into the car parked next to you like with the Polo! The driving is solid, the gears are quite clunky but you get used to that and its nice to really fel when you are in the right gear. The only car that I enjoyed driving was the Fiesta when I test drove A LOT of small cars. That was a dream to drive, teh gears were just sooo smooth. However my Micra more than makes up for his clunky gearswith his... Read the full review: small car with a massive character by Green Dragon |

Nissan Micra 1.0 L ... In real world terms thats easily 2 standard size suitcases with smaller soft bags packed around the sides. The actual driving of it is well driving, I really dont know how to describe it! Erm, It corners well and is surprisingly nippy for a 1 litre, with fairly good acceleration on the flat and is much better at retaining its speed uphill than the 1.3 litre Fiesta was, possibly the micra is lighter? Gearing up and down is easy, atlhough the gears are closer together than I was used to with the Fiesta so took abit of getting used to, and with going up hill its better to go down a gear just to keep the power (as I said, do this in the Fiesta and it'd still slow...
