Porsche 968:
... I hit 35, I just had to have a sports car. I had made do until then with mostly bland conveyances but a switch flipped in my head and a sports car was suddenly necessary. I got a beat up Porsche 924 and kept it for several years, only dumping it when the clutch finally gave way. The remains of the 924 was donated to charity and I replaced it with 1993 Porsche 968, which I bought late in 1999 with about 70,000 mi... Read the full review: Which Porsche Is That? by vamagguy |

Porsche Boxster 2.7 ... I have just bought my 1st porsche - A 2.7 boxster manual. So far i am very pleased with it. I cant believe how cheap you can pick these up for now. My 2002 boxster with black leather cost just £8500! When decided what to buy i looked at a range of cars - namely the Audi TT, Porsche Boxster, Lotus Elise and Jaguar XK. After taking them all out for a drive i fell in love with the Porsche. It is so comfortable to drive for a sports car and the boot spaces in the front and back give enough room for a weekend bag and a couple of bags of shopping. Road Handling - Great - mid engine car and quite heavy so doesnt slide around like some sports cars. Comfort - Great su... Read the full review: love it - a porsche for £8500!!! by johanna18 |

Porsche 924 ... Only 1 review so far, so here comes another one. I bought my 924 about 1.5 years ago. It s a 1984 luxury model (Turbo rims, leather, electric windows, ...) and I m totally pleased with it so far! I don t know the history, that s too bad, but until now it was a very good gamble. It had 90000km on the clock, I think original. I had absolutely no problem with it, except the starter which broke, but that s easy (and quite cheap) to replace. According to my mecanic the engine almost runs like new. I must say I regularly go full throttle, about 125 miles an hour (210kms) and it does that with ease, no rising oil temperature, no vibrations, just perfect! Only negative thin... Porsche Boxster S3.2 ... going in another direction some how have gone as the 911 of late can handle well and look at what the basic 911 done on the isle man on top gear when raced over 2 miles on twisty roads in the rain, it beat the BMW M6 and ASTON MARTIN, both of which where more powerfull and more expensive, but it did not just beat them, it beat them by 6 seconds!!! that is a large amount, and Jeremy "I Hate Porsche" Clarkson, did not comment, as it proved like little hamster as always said, and its true, Porsche know how to make racing cars, they know how to put that power down onto the tarmac, and this reflects in the Boxster S, I have eaten, Scoobies that have had £7,000 upgr...
