pigroaster Proton Iswara - Sedan: ... proton has been in my family for a number of years, and it all started with one just like the picture. My granddad was the one to purchase it; Of course to follow the trend of other oldies, which included wearing a flat cap whilst driving. It had a 1.3 8v engine and acquired a dent on every panel. Mainly due to the failing eyesight and driving abilities of the protons owner, but even still we were all impressed a...

zachary Proton Iswara - Sedan
... car is a joke! bad handling, weakly built and no joy to drive at all. When I was base in far-east, the company which I worked for bought 10 of these for their staff. The car is economical though but to maintain it in good condition is difficult. The fuel and temperature meter got faulty in two of the cars on the second week, the dealer blame it on the O.E.M supplier. The front bumper of one of the car hit another car and the bumper just came off and the impact was only when the car was doing less the 20 mph in the company ground. Driving this car on the motorway can be dangerous as it is not stable and if you were doing 70 to 80 mph it might get spun off if a truck...

... own a 2005 Proton V6 Perdana and must say it is the most reliable car I have to date. Before this, I had a Citroen, Ford Lynx and a Nissan AD. I read so many negative reviews about Proton Perdana but it seems that many of these reviews are not from owners but from people who prefer to badmouth out of boredom and make fun of the Malaysian government national cars for whatever reason. Personally, I think the 2007 Waja drives around the bendy roads slightly better than the Perdana as my wife just bought a Waja herself. But the Perdana is much better for cruising and overtaking and comfortable for the long distance trips. In a website, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proton_Perda...

... there is a 2 kinds of satria gti : MMC system and Bosch EMS system . With the MMC system you maybe able to get to 100km/h in 7.8 seconds but for the Bosch EMS nah...... the most you could get is 9seconds . Proton changed the system to earn more cause only they have the parts . Since 2002 all wiras , satrias and gtis has been using Bosch EMS system . I own a satria gti myself and i changed the whole wiring , manifold , computer box , trottlebody etc ++ back to the MMC system . The bosch EMS system with a trottle sencor there sucks . After change back to the MMC system i could go from 0-100km/h in 6.7 seconds ...
