Rover 214i 3-door:
... on. Not fun like a focus, just capable. Very.
The engines deserve credit. On a low budget and designed as a cheap way of powering there base cars this motor still punches above its weight today. And its weight is very low to! Lotus and caterham used it remember....
So the engines are great, when there working! and the car even in base trim drives and handles better than many hot hatches. Is the assembly as impres... Read the full review: wow... by JMD |

Rover 800 ... engine, steering and suspension setups. The result is a shockingly competent big car. The T16 turbo engine is fantastic, where in the smaller cars its dynamite in the bigger 800 it gives flexibilty its 6 cylinder rivals cant touch. I have a modded version of this engine which has been raced and is still going strong at 160k miles. Rumours of it being fragile are totally unfounded. They are tough, even if abused (I really do abuse mine). AND.... it handles. Yep, a Rover 800 that can not only go round corners but do so well. It will hang onto many modern hot hatches. And it does so in style. These cars can be picked up for next to nothing these days. Even by modern ... Read the full review: Vitesse (Sport).A lot of quality metal for next to no £ by JMD |

Rover 214 Si ... to ring around 30...yes 30 different garages to finally find a specialist to fix it as it was automatic. The job cost 355 to repair. I thought all was well and was quite happy after that. (that was september of 2006) in the november the next month i had the brake pipes done which cost 150 pound. Then in the same i had the rear windscreen wiper fixed as the motor had gone. Then in the december of 2006 i noticed the coolant was going down very quickly and took it to a garage to be told it was the head gaskett. I had it fixed which cost 470 pound. I thought after that surely that was all that could go wrong....Nope in the feburary of 2007 i open my bonnet to find the coolan... Read the full review: An expensive mistake by lorraine |

Rover Streetwise ... CD player I have is the factory fitted one and I think it is great! It has a flip down front to access the slot for cd's, 6 programmes to save radio stations and the best part is the steering wheel controls so again I don't have to lose concentration by playing with the cd player as I have control at my finger tips! On the dashboard there is a clock display which for some unknown reason stopped working, but also next to this there is a built in Traffic Congestion Alert, this basically beeps at you up to 15 miles in advance to tell you if there is congestion ahead on most main roads and motorways. It gives off a small beep then the display tells you where the problem ... Read the full review: Lou Get's Streetwise With a Streetwise by loulou22 |
