Saab 900:
... engine was a fine choice, and surprisingly economical. With careful driving (and the onboard computer helps you nurture this) I achieved more than 32mpg most of the time. Just beware: the fuel tank is a healthy 65 litres, so with current petrol prices (in the UK at least) your fill-ups are quite pricey :)
My only complaints were occasional build quality issues, but due to the age of my car, wear and tear was ... Read the full review: Everyone should own a Saab once... by jamesontheroad |

Saab 9-3 Convertible in general ... yes, it is winter, but my straw poll brought forth comments such as "lumpy" "over solid" "heavy and old fashioned" and "downright ugly". In the final analysis this is, after all, MY opinion; I think that there are far worse looking cars on the road, although I have to say that this is one VERY colour sensitive car - I would certainly not order one in gunmetal grey! OVERALL BUILD QUALITY AND FINISH 9 / 10 Does it look as though it was slung together? No it does not! Looking carefully at this Saab Convertible, it is every inch a solidly, well built car, fit and finish are remarkably good, as is the paint finish. In this area you... Saab 9-3 2.0T 185 bhp 5-door ... does tend to have a light front under accelaration and in the autumn months has a tendancy to torque steer in second gear. In winter on frosty starts It is necessary to short shift in order to keep traction. Other than that it is very rewarding to drive on the b roads. It is equally at home on the motorway where it can take you well over three figures without you really knowing it. Interms of overall comfort, the seats are 200 mile comfortable, but I am 6ft 4 and find the space for my left leg too small. Often it means I tuck it under the brake pedal. Not really safe I agree. Space in the back is ample for my 3 year old, but I have found it a squeeze with 5 in. When t... Read the full review: SAAB 9-3T 5 door SE by jimmyspeg |

Saab 9-3 2.0t 150 bhp Coupe ... proper 3 point mounted rear seat belts are fitted as stand, which is a must with child as lap belts are not safe. The car is very very solidly built with doors making a nice deep sound when closed. The car looks and feels classy, but very practical at the same time, here are some of my feeling: 9-3 Plus Points: • Multiple air bags with pre-tensioned seat belts • Huge Boot • 3 Point rear belts • Comfortable and adjustable seats • Great Engine (quiet) • Smooth Gearbox • Solid Feel • Great Fuel Consumption for a large car • Class • Power 9-3 Negative Points: • Dashboard a little dated • Having to press twice to unlock all 4 doors • Ride a little harsh on country lanes...
