... reviewers have badmouthed its practical ability, my theory on this is because other cars are marketed to be flexible adaptive vehicles in some cases offering 8 seats plus luggage space. Fine. Smart CDI ... this can be a problem, beause the handling on snow is not very good. But in England you drive on the left side, so its good to have a little, very little car, to avoid accidents with tourists from the continent, and this car has place also between to other cars. You can park with this car everywhere, and I mean everywhere! In Germany is actually a discussion going on with the police, if its allowed with this car to park in a 90 degrees angle to other cars! This easy way of finding a place to park is a plus you may not credit if you live in the country, but if you live in a city you will thank God for this car! Smart & Passion ... driving a small car is safety. Put in its simplest terms, in the event of an accident there's just not so much metal between you and another vehicle, or your body and the tarmac or concrete. The truth is, I DID feel vulnerable in the Smart, although in reality it scores fairly high in the safety ratings league. (NCAP Ratings) Being built by a renowned car manufacturer like Mercedes helps, as they have incorporated many of the safety features that they include in their standard range, with crumple zones all around, and a "Tridion" safety cell that makes up the core of the interior. Smart Cabrio ... drive in crowded zones, this is the best car you can find. The design is the most original I've ever seen, but I notice that a lot of people likes it. The luggage van, of course, is very small. The air conditionated works well, I think because of the small space. For the safety there are airbags, ABS like others car...but the roadholding power is not the best, specially if you are on a wet street. The instrumentation is very essential, I remember also a small display with the corrent gear. Yes the gear.It is the worst thing on this car because is very slow (manual or speed-gear) like the previous version. But the engine is very good!It takes a very few of fuel but ...
