Toyota Corolla 3-door S:
... Toyota Corolla has been going now since 2000. It is a 1.6 petrol engine on a W reg with 87000 miles on the clock. To me this car still drives like new. The clutch has never slipped and the gear change is still free and easy. So far, touch wood, nothing has needed changing other than a new battery. I bought a Corolla from a recommendation from a family member. They have always been really popular in my family and ... Toyota Prius ... recently purchased a three year old Prius Hybrid with 40.000 miles on clock, to relace my 407 Peugeot Auto Estate. Have to say I m very impressed with it s capabilities and fuel performance. Over 50 mpg on a full tank over periods of long and short distances, not quite the 64 mpg as implied, though am sure it could be obtained if required. My only regret is that I am not possesed of its sat/nav cd. Apparently they are prized as valuable loot to be proffered for sale on e-bay etc. by hard up thieves. luckily my tom tom will suffice till I obtain a replacement. Another drawback is that a tow bar is not to be recommended, hence my retainment of the Pergeout. Otherwis... Read the full review: Family car to suit most tastes by rhg464 |

Toyota Aygo ... Aygo is 3.5 years old with 33,000 miles. Just under a year ago it had a new clutch fitted under warranty but that is now failing and will soon be replaced under its own warranty. Whilst confirming the second failure, our Toyota garage informed us that the front discs and pads need replacing at a cost of £221! In the few days between diagnosis and the car going in, the engine has started to make an odd noise which is worrying - more problems?? NB the car has always been main-dealer serviced and is generally well looked after. Our overall feeling is that the car is now becoming a "problem car" so it is likely that we will get rid of it shortly after havin... Toyota Yaris in general ... have an X reg 2000 Toyota Yaris. I have owned it for 4 years now. It is a small car but on the inside it is huge. The are handy compartments everywhere, the back seat moves forward and backwards to give passengers more space. I find there is more space in the back seats of this car than any other small car and even some bigger cars. It is really reliable, the only things I have replaced are new tyres, neew brake pads and something to do with the suspension. The radio did brake within a year of me owning it, no idea why but I got it replaced for free as it was included in the extended warrenty. The MPG on this car is fab at approx 50mpg, cant get much better. It is also... Read the full review: my main car is a yaris, my second car is a yaris by hanthespan |
