Toyota Yaris in general: ... ve had our Yaris for just over 2 years. It s an X reg and has done over 114,000 miles, so you might think that it s getting old. However, it s a very low maintenance car - major work rarely needs doing, petrol is good - we ve got a 1 litre engine so it s economical, and the last couple of MOTs have only failed on tyres! 	Toyota Aygo ... research on the internet, that this appears to be a problem with these cars as they are cheaply made so are not expected for those who may be doing around 10000 miles a year, which is the average might I add. I must also add that within the two years I had the car, I had to replace the front tyres twice and one of the back tyres. Anyone who is buying this car, thinking they are getting a good Toyota car, as I did, think again as you may have a citreon or a peugeot engine under the bonnet, as I did. The reason for this is that they are made in the same factor as the Peugeot 107 and the citreon c1 and they are essentially the same car except for the exterior. I would a... 	Toyota Yaris 1.3 VVT-i SR 3dr ... of comfort, despite the sports ride. A superb feature, which is undersold is the moveable rear seat; this sits on an adjustable carriage like the front seats and allows you to choose a balance between rear leg room/boot space. Pulled right forward, kids in the back are reachable by the front seat passenger and the boot becomes huge for the pushchair. Driven sensibly it will return over 45mpg but its tough not to be leaden footed. Reliability is typical Toyota, although servicing and maintenance (brakes, clutch etc) can be a little pricey. Early examples are available from £2,000 but I would suggest one registered after March 2001 to take advantage of the cheaper taxation... 	Toyota Hilux Double Cab ... I don t own this vehicle I did have one for work for nearly 6 months and had to do a professional off road driving course too, which I would definately recommend. Toyota s are legendary for their durability (see top gear!) and reliability. Their excellence is evident from their use by Arctic Trucks when they convert cars for use in extremes such as the Arctic (see also top gear) and also at the South Pole (Amundsen/Scott race 08/09 support vehicles)! From the outside this vehicle is nice, you can get lots of chrome but I don t go for that and rather the look of mud!
