Toyota MR2 (1990-99):
... I m on my second mr2 being my first a standard 2litre, but when I got my turbo WOW what a diffrence, faster, better what a car. Ive always liked the two seater and don t really find it a problem as ive no kids, and rear wheel drive is just so much fun and cant really understand why people go for 4 wheel drive as weres the fun! Toyota Corolla T-Sport ... Some of you may know that I recently had to part with my beloved MX-5. Off it went....and in its place came the 2002 Toyota Corolla T-Sport. I have got to admit that for the first few days (oh alright, weeks) I felt a kind of dislike, almost loathing towards this car. It hadn’t done anything wrong as such - it just wasn’t my MX-5! A few months down the line and I can honestly say that my initial feelings about the car were completely unnecessary. Toyota Avensis Liftback GLS ... traded in my Nissan Primera 2.0 for a Toyota Avensis 2.0 GLS 2001 model a few months ago I m happy to report that I made a wise choice. I ve driven Mondeo s, Scenic Megane s and even the new shape Vectra amongst others but the Avensis is definitely my favourite by far. First things first, be sure you know which Avensis you are buying. The latest model is a horrible boxy looking thing, take a look at a Toyota main dealer website and you will see what I mean. Toyota Yaris in general ... my T-sport from new, this month was its three year anniversary and the obligatory M.O.T test. Whilst passing, it was noted that the outside edge of the brake disks was badly corroded, (previous year check also picked up on this). Now I know i'm not the kindest person on the brake pedal, but the pads, all three years old, have outlasted the disks. The reason being, given by the bloke in the Toyota shop, was due to low milage (24K). Anyone smell the BS? . I thought all makes and model of cars would have this problem, due to the edge not being abraded by anything.
