Toyota Landcruiser Colorado VX 3.0 TD (8 seat) 5dr:
... adds quality and every electric gadget is included as standard. The plastic work inside could be a bit more subtle - I'm used to this having had 3 Jap cars. My first car was an MX5 - beautiful balance and controllable handling. This will sound bizarre, but the Toyota, for a car of its weight, handles equally as well. There is fully independet suspension at each corner which is perfectly sprung and damped. Th... Read the full review: I cannot fault it by guywilko |

The main reason for taxi driver’s fondness for vehicles from the land of the Rising Sun is fairly simple to understand. They are reasonably priced, economical to run and maintain, spacious, and last virtually forever without breaking down. For a taxi driver, their trouble free record is one of their most important attributes. Toyota Avensis Liftback GLS ... have recently given up my company Toyota Avensis 2.0 GLS at 90,000 on the clock, over 30,000 of which were driven by me. I was not able to choose the car that I drove, so hopefully my view will be an objective one. Equipment / comfort The car is well-equipped, with a great Sony CD/radio/minidisc/cassette player, sunroof, air conditioning, airbags, rear wiper, electric windows, fog lights etc. Having driven other cars of a similar size over long distances (eg Peugeot 406, Ford Mondeo) the Avensis is by far the most comfortable - no niggling aches for either me or the passengers. The handbrake is further forward than on most cars, which for me was brilliant... Read the full review: Thinking of a used Avensis? by Yvie |

Toyota in general ... much i can say about Toyotas but as a mechanic i can tell you that they are mega reliable and will never let you down as long as they are serviced and looked after. After owning 3 MR2's and my father owning numerous Toyotas for his driving school i wouldnt even consider another make anymore(maybe Nissan). You could be forgiven for buying a Nissan, they use the same components as Toyota so they are virtually the same car. Thats not to say that other makes are bad, some are, some not but i dont see any better car on the road than a Toyota for the price. The fact is that Japan have left Britain and other countrys behind when it comes to cars.Japanese cars are a class ...
