	Vauxhall Vectra SRi 150 2.2i 16v 5-door Hatchback ... who managed to identify a fault with the fuel pump. This was promptly replaced under the warranty. All was good until the same thing happened just over a year later, this time while the car was outside of warranty. This time I managed to get a friend to do the job but this repair still cost me £500. And then the final time this happened was 6 months later. This time, fed up of the same problem I got rid of the car. Vauxhall were no help with doing anything, even though the fault was shown on Watchdog and is a known problem that Vauxhall know about. 	Vauxhall Vectra 1.9cdti Exclusiv ... had this car for a few months between cars, and have made the following observations: Good - very comfortable inside and on long journeys. Very good stereo system. Basic but functional and gives good clear sound. Excellent fuel economy. I filled the tank before a journey from Edinburgh to Portsmouth, and still had fuel to begin the return journey. -quiet when on the inside, there is minimal road and engine noise Cheap to buy, run and service. Bad This car handles and looks a little like a canal boat. If you do the majority of your driving on the motorway this isn t an issue, but if you regularly have to tackle winding roads it can become very tiresome almost having... 	Vauxhall Corsa (pre 2000) ... buying a real car, i had the displeasure of owning a vauxhall corsa. What can i say about this disaster of a car that will ensure no-one else has to endure the misery of owning one. There are very few redeeming features for this super mini. The only reason i could think for buying one now would be utter desperation for cheap transportation/. You d almost be better off taking the bus considering how poor this car is. Being pragmatic the cheapness is a good thing, a basic service is less than £40 pounds, and the engine is reasonable economical, so if you re looking for absolutely no frills transportation, and you haven t got a better option an old corsa could be ...
