Vauxhall Zafira Club 1.6i 16v 5-door MPV:
... has been done on time, so far for about £150 a pop. It's had, I think 4. All done at Vauxhall apart from the last one, where we went to the independent garage round the corner. Nothing major needs doing. Yet.

Vauxhall Corsa 1.3 CDTi ... over the 5k miles it has done since December and it sits around 47mpg. My 20 mile trip to work (40 mile round trip) is mainly motorway/dual carriageway 'A' roads. I have previously mentioned it to the vauxhall garage and the excusses they offered were down to cold weather and running-in. Well the car should now be run-in with 5K on the clock and the temperature was around 11-12C yesterday....not too cold or so warm that you need AC. The only extras I have are ESP+, adaptive lighting and Metallic paint ...(perhaps it's the paint???!!??). I can't believe that Car manufacturers are allowed to get away with it given cost of fuel and environmental issues.... Vauxhall Vectra LS 2.0DTi 16v 5-door Hatchback ... like a sherman tank with one track missing and trying to get some power from it was asking for trouble, considering it had a 2.0 litre engine under the bonnet you would have achieved more responce from a snail on sleeping tablets. The dashboard lights were very pretty, considering most of them flashed on and off whilst i bobbed along the road. The engine management icon was my constant companion on those long journeys. It was in and out of the garage with one fault and another and i was advised evertime by my friendly mechanic to get shut and buy something else, like a lada. Vauxhall Corsa (pre 2000) ... is down to the chip in my engine that these went and they cost me £120 each to replace. I have a set of low profile tires on the car at £60 each and for the first 4 years never had any problems but as some of you may already know i am a lead witness in a child abuse case and since that all came out my car has had many a slashed tire but that isnt the cars fault, its vandalism. Mertle is an r plate so he is almost 10 years old now i think and his plastics have faded to a dull grey but it doesnt help that he is parked under a tree constantly so the sap has added to that but can be easily fixed by painting them which i might get around to doing this summer.
