Vauxhall Vectra Club 2.0DTi 16v 5-door Hatchback ... ve bought my Vectra 2.0 DTI Elite trim 6 months ago second hand. It is 03 registration for 6000 pounds from a trader. The options were either to get the Ford Focus or the Vectra. Been Vectra driver for last 8 years I ve got the Vectra. I know the Focus is more agile, but after short test drive it proved what I already know - the bigger the car the better the cruising. I have relaxed drive style and the Vectra is my perfect value for money match. Basically 2.0 and 2.2 DTI engines have bad reputation for oil burning. Not mine though – after two regular oil changes I can tell you that there was no need to add any oil between them whatsoever – maybe I am just lucky, mayb... Vauxhall Frontera Estate Limited 2.2DTi 16v 5-door ... have owned a 2.2 dti for two years now and had loads of trouble with it.First was the airmass meter then followed the injector seals then the speedo also the steering pipe burst now there is oil in the intercooler and a problem with black smoke so thick you cant see behind you and to tiop it off there may be a problem with the turbo i would not buy another frontera if my life depended on it!!!... Vauxhall Astra LS 2.0DTi 16v 5-door Estate ... bought my Astra off my Dad 3 weeks ago and so far it has proven to be well worthy of the task it was intended for. I have moved to the 98 registered "R" reg astra from a slightly bigger 99 Seat Toledo. I say bigger, it was higher and wider than the Astra but one of the reasons I wanted the estate was because I have 3 small children and a dog and we couldn t go out together in the Seat.
