	Vauxhall Corsa (pre 2000) ... own the 1999 version, a 16V V registration. This car has not been a bad runner at all. It is nippy and is small enough to swing into the small parking places. I have owned it for three years now and have not had to have any majoy jobs done to it. Which is very good because in the past my luck with cars has been quite awful. Although it is not my first car i do think that they do make good 1st cars. The ars are very good on petrol. I am quite attached to my little corsa. Although I would love to have one of the new versions. Things that are not so good about it- like all cars they have their bad points. On the 16 valve the valves are prone to "sticking" which ... 	Vauxhall Vectra CD 2.0DTi 16v 5-door Hatchback ... 2.0 diesel. I owned one of these just over a year ago and quite frankly could nt get rid of it quick enough, I had my 52 plate for 3 years and suffered nothing but problems. I bought it with 40k miles and within 3 months developed problems with brake sensors which manifested in the brake pedal becoming very rigid under even light braking, the solution was to change all the sensors and the total cost was £200, then the rear calipers began to stick so that was another £180. I found the car to be poorly made with the seal round the windscreen leaking, the leather around the gear lever burst and the sound system developed a fault. the electric windows slowed down wh... 	Vauxhall Zafira Life 1.6 5dr ... Zafira 1.6 life 55 plate. Very roomy practical family car delivering bags of functionality, the front is very comfortable and has a decent equipment level with electric windows and mirrors and the 3 mid seats offer lots of room for the family. the two extra rear seats are handy but cramped, the car comes into its own when used as a 5 seater with a massive boot although the extra seats have their uses. Used as a 7 seater there is no boot. Its economical too mine delivers around 35 mpg which is not bad for a people carrier. Not very fast and driven better motors round corners.
