... it was a Nissan Cherry with an Alfasud engine - can you imagine such sacrilige? Also badged the Cherry Europe - i wonder if I can cut and paste this review over there :) - it sounded beautiful, but looked awful. And no, i didn't test drive it. I doon't know what engine variants it used, though given the target market, i don't think the multi-carbed versions would have been used. Don't expect one of my lengthly Alfa eulogies here. I don't expect a crown! This is for completeness... This car typifies Alfa's darkest days. Hit by reaction to Alfasuds falling apart - despite being a wonderful car (subject of anotehr review), they were scrtaing around trying to do somehting before they were saved by Fiat. So, they saw that many people were finding a lump of metal in the middle of the road, realising that it was an Alfasud boxer engine with the car turned to red oxide all around it, and putting it into a kit car. The trouble with the sud you see was that the engine was sound, but would barely cover 70k or 80k ... Read the complete review
