Excellent choice for someone seeking style and performance on a budget.

I've owned my Mito for just over a year now. I intially bought it because I was seeking a high-performance and well-designed car on a budget; I knew nothing about the Alfa Romeo brand at the time and had never owned one of their models before. The Mito certainly looks more expensive than it is, with lots of optional upgrades: tinted windows, glossy paintwork, alloy trims and more, that you can treat yourself to for a touch of luxury on a budget. Though the Mito is a two door it doesn't feel cramped; its much roomier than other 2-door models I've owned and larger than my previous car, a Volkswagen polo. However, the boot space is quite limited. What impressed me most about this car is the DNA driving system. This allows the driver to select a 'mode' for driving in different conditions: 'dynamic' for fast-paced motorway driving; 'normal' for, erm, normal, and 'all-weather' for adverse conditions. I really tested the all-weather to the limit last winter when I was stuck on an icy incline in blizzard conditions - the 'all-weather' mode got us home, while several of the drivers behind us were left to camp overnight! The features of the car aside, what really sold me on this was the excellent customer service and aftercare I received from the Alfa Romeo Dealership. A complimentary AA membership for the life of the car was included with the purchase, as was membership of the Alfa Romeo club which offers access to experience days and information about the brand. I've had my car repaired twice since I bought it, both times under warranty, and it hasn't cost me a thing. I also bought my car on a finance agreement, which was really easy to arrange and has now concluded.

Good all round car. Sporty at a reasonable price. Spacious, would easily fit a child or two.

I purchased my Alfa Romeo Mito 1.4 lusso last year. Previously owning a suzuki swift, although it was a nice car, I wanted something more stylish. From the first time I set eyes on the Mito I fell in love with it. It is sophisticated and classy but not in an, 'in your face' show off way. I originally had the intention of buying the Turismo model because of the lower price tag, however, when looking closely at the spec for this model it was missing the features I wanted. You do not have alloys or the attractive dash and upolstry in the Turismo, and to add them as extras is costly. It is better to have the higher spec model and receive many extras including controls on the steering wheel for roughly the same price. The Mito is great fun to drive, has a high quality feel inside and out, and it is very comfortable. Whenever I get into my car I still feel proud to be its owner. I highly recommend this purchase.
        Points to be aware of:
The stated miles to the gallon is rarely achieved.
It takes a few thousand miles to break in the car before it will excellerate in the time that it is meant to.

excellant little car that drives like a beast

I purchased an Alfa Romeo Mito Lusso 1.3 in October 2009, i was looking for a car that was stylish, individual and a brand new design and the Mito is certainly all three. There are plenty of different options and extras you can choose from leather seats to Microsoft blue tooth extras. The DNA switch in the vehicle is an added bonus and the sports switch is a brilliant way to really feel like your driving this car! the interior is very comfortable and for a small car it doesn't feel that small inside. there is plenty of boot space and pockets around the interior to put all your things and enough room for the weeks shopping. The computer on the dash tells you lots of interesting things like how many miles you have left how far you have gone what the average miles to the gallon you have been doing (for 2 seperate journeys) you can programme the lights to come on in the day, the alarm to beep when you have reached a set speed limit. you really could spend all day messing around with it. The only one downside i think it has is that some of the interior e.g the door handles are quite cheapley made and i have to keep clicking it back together. Also the plastic in the footwell pops out and that needs to be put back in on occasions as well. However this is a small price to pay for the satisfaction i have had from this vehicle and everybody looks at you as you drive by!
