By making the new A6 longer and using the extra
wheelbase to provide a roomier interior, the big gain is
in the passenger treatment. While the design keeps the
car from looking large, the cabin is spacious and
inviting.
Taut, agile handling belies the A6's weight, and good
application of the corporate racing experience makes
this one of the safest cars to drive fast in poor
conditions.
The exterior of the new A6 picks up on the success of
the A4 and technology-leading A8. If you like the styling,
don't be surprised to see some similarity in Ford
products, since their styling is modern, yet has deco-like
classic lines.
