I BOUGHT and DRIVE the A6. For 2 years now. I've torn off the front bumper twice. If you don't mind paying 1000 when you forget to stop before you near the curb, and don't mind Audi denying there is a problem, then this is a car for you.
When the front bumper is not falling off, it looks nice and drives well. The 2.8 (and 3.0) is marginal on power, the 2.7T or 4.2 are much better choices in that regard.
Overall, this car is a good choice for smeone who owns a body shop and is looking to keep busy!
