2000 Audi TT The 2000 TT is a 2-door sports car available in one trim only. At maximum capacity it holds two full-size passengers and two small passengers. The TT's closest competitors include the BMW M-Coupe, BMW Z3 Coupe and the Mercedes SLK. According to Audi, "the TT has all the credentials of an authentic German sports car." Upon introduction, the TT is equipped with a standard turbocharged 1.8-liter, I4, 180-horsepower engine that consumes 22-mpg in the city and 31-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard. As an option, the TT can be equipped with the Quattro IV all-wheel drive system that increases horsepower to 225 while slightly decreasing fuel economy. The TT is all-new for 2000.
