hakkved Audi TT quattro
... Audi TT Quattro is a serious beauty of a sports car which reverts me to a drooling wreck everytime I see one. The design is completely different from other Audi’s on the market but yet still unmistakably Audi. The TT is available as either a coupe or roadster design – both are equally cool. The appeal is easy to see from the outside. It’s clear rounded shapes form it’s bold and dramatic style coupled with the traditional interlinked four-ring logo. In my mind the front view of the car reminds me of pandas! What? I hear you cry! I think it’s probably something to do with the black windowed headlights mimicking the panda’s black p...

red5five Audi 100
... bought a 1988 Audi 100E 2.0 when I wanted a cheap but roomy family car. My one is automatic and I must admit, despite a 5 cylinder 2litre engine, it does get a bit wheezy under acceleration. Once up there at motorway speeds the car is relaxed and a joy to drive. Parts have proved pricey ( £40 for HT leads and £110 for a CV Joint ) but they do last. The boot is surprisingly roomy and deep and the interior very spacious. I was surprised that it didn't come with electric windows as standard but I suppose it's one less thing to go wrong, anyway, you can always make whirring noises and pretend! It's very quiet at all speeds inside and you can tell, despite it&...

spb1 Audi 80
... is now 1 year since I was given my first free car, a C reg Audi 80 1.6 petrol. (see below) and here are my findings. Nothing has gone wrong or left me stranded in a major way. I did run out of petrol a couple of weeks ago, but that was my own fault, I just ignored the fuel gauge! Doh! It does leak a bit in heavy rain, I think the door seals are leaking. I can live with that. It has just passed it's MOT with a clean bill of health. The only parts I have replaced are: Engine oil (3 times), spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, gearbox oil, HT leads, distributor cap and rotor arm, and 4 new tyres. It has always started first time, and can crusie in comfort at 80...
