Audi V8 ... t let the scaled-up A4 styling fool you. The A8 is really massive inside and out. The inside is light, airy and spacious. Some of the switchgear feels slightly old-fashioned by modern standards, especially the heater controls. Many control functions are delegated to a turn-and-click knob, dubbed MMI, which takes some getting used to. Rear seat space is generous and the boot in huge by class standards. Checked out the price in Wisebuyer s Price Guide, a must have for me when negotiating the best price. so I knew what I shold be paying. Audi TT Coupé quattro ... was love at first sight. As soon as I saw the trademark lines and voluptuous, sweeping curves I knew I had to have one....the Audi TT. The only problem was that at the time (around 1998 when the TT was first released) I was still in my teens and I knew that I didn’t stand a chance for a good few years! Originally designed to be nothing more than a concept car, the TT is one of the only cars that has gone for such a long period without a major facelift. A few tweaks and modifications have been applied over time but the overall appearance is still essentially the same. Audi 100 ... final generation Audi 100 was produced from 1991 - 1994 and continued (re-badged as an Audi A6) throught to 1997. For some reason this cars was never as popoular as its BMW and Mercedes rivals, despite it being a fine executive car. Even the latest examples of this model are now 10 years old and being diesel tend to be high mileage. Nonetheless they are testament to Audi's build quality. You can now pick these up for less that £2500, which is a small price for the levels of refinements, luxury, space and safety you get.
