Audi Quattro ... I was very small I yearned after the rally winning Audi quattro's and always vowed that my first car would be an Audi and if I had the money It would be a quattro. Well I passed my test as soon as I could and I started looking for my dream car. My first was an Audi Coupe quattro with a 2.2 5i engine. This car stuck to the road like nothing I had ever driven before, it was quite literally on rails. This car helped me through my learning years and always got me out of more trouble than I could get it into. Audi A2 in general ... I have now had the 1.6 A2 car for a few months and I love it, the air con is great and the open sky system much admired, it is a bit sluggish sometimes in low gears but really shifts on the motorway, the MPG is about right (as per the spec.. 48) and I really recommend the driver info system as it is very useful to know how much petrol you have got left, good fun to drive as the 1.6 version surprises people with the speed it can shift at. I have tried and successfully got 2 mountain bikes in the back (when the seats are out) and as it is physically the same size as a Corsa it really is genius in design. Audi A6 2.4 SE ... the rough with the smooth I wanted a second-hand car that was reliable, comfortable, reasonably fast and under £11k. Sadly, I didn't get one. Here's why. We'll start from the outside and work our way in, shall we? Don't expect to turn heads in an Audi A6. It looks almost exactly the same as the A4 and not all that dissimilar from the A3 when seen from the front. On the other hand, you could say the same about the far more expensive A8.
