Lovely car... oh how I miss it! (BMW 318tds)

Well I drove one of these for a couple of years. Hampshire Police uses them as Area Cars.. although they are now moving up to the Estate Version.
Would highly recommend this car. Excellent handling, and hard to believe there is a diesel engine under the bonnet at times. Obviously I am not going to condone breaking the speed limit (!!). But, there is a good turn of speed in this car, and it will get above 120 mph with some considerable ease (trust me!). It always felt safe when I was driving it - and I have driven some cars at speed which definitely did not feel safe - Ford Sierra, Volvo 240 and Rover 8 series to name a few of the vehicles which Hampshire Police has used in the past.
The only down side of this car is the room in the back... little bit tight. Okay with a young family I suppose, but 2 adults in the back would be a little uncomfortable.
No longer work in uniform and I miss it something rotten.... so now looking for a cheap second model. As with the old police volvos.. these cars could quite easily go on for 150,000 miles or more :)

Summary:
