The BMW 330d Touring is a great all-rounders car. It doesn't do anything spectacularly well but it does pretty much everything very well. It has plenty of performance for your average driver - mine is the 2002 model and they've bumped up the power a lot since then but I still officially have 184bhp, a 0-60 time of 7.8 seconds and more torque than you can shake a stick at. It's not a sports car but it gets away at the lights quickly enough if you want to, has plenty of overtaking power and makes motorway cruising effortless. Handling is great for a car of it's size.
