Peformance

0-60 4.8 seconds! and whats more its achievable with ease with the SMG gearbox and launch control - i.e. you dont need to be Damon Hill on the gearchange and/or clutch control!!

Quicker than most things you are going to come across in everyday driving. Eats Japanese rally replicas, nearly as quick as a Porsche 911 turbo.

Handling

Effortless. Composed. I've read that some people dont like the steering... I dont know what they are on about, theres plenty of feel there for me! Only one thing to watch out for - oversteer! However if you use common sense and keep the traction control on, you'll be ok (I hope!)

Style

Very agressive but subtle styling. Wide arches and humped bonnet mean that most people pull over before your even 20 metres away. 19" M sport wheels look the absolute business - but can scuff easily.

Economy

Believe it or not its easy to achieve 26-27mpg and 30mpg is in your reach if you drive sensibly. A tankful of fuel lasts 300 miles or so (better than my old Renault Clio Sport 172 - albeit a bigger tank on the BMW)

Practicality

Very comfortable seats with memory settings. Seats even have side supports that pump up to fit your body perfectly. Theres also plenty of room in the back for 2 people to sit in luxury. Boot is really big on the coupe - It swallowed all the christmas pressies with ease this year!
