I have a mini Cooper S convertable. The roof goes up and down in 4 seconds which is great in this british weather. It goes like a rocket Im never left at the trafic lights. It has a heavey well built feel in the inside nothing like the old mini I had a teenager, This is a difrent car all together. It is manual a gear box. Very easy to drive ... Read the complete review

Right, here goes.... I have had my car for 2 and a half years and I really like it but it is not without its downsides. I really don't know too much about cars so this will be a frank account of my experiences, but it probably won't be too technical. I really like my MINI. He is cute and called COCO (not after chanel!) and ... Read the complete review

I bought a Mini One back in 2005 for my wife, its the first time i have ever bought a brand new car and its also the first time ive ever seen my wife excited by a car. Like alot of BMW cars we had to pay for any extras, we didnt go nuts but we got the roof black and the main paintwork is like an off white. It looks very smart. I paid to ... Read the complete review

The new Mini, its a cute looking car, a fashion car, like the new Beetle. Is it more about style than substance?? Its all quite well put together, very stylish. Some areas of trim are a bit flimsy though. Its great fun to drive on short journeys, lovely sharp steering, responsive handling. But on a longer journey, its tiring, that ride, ... I love my mini and certainly BMW have done a great job of bringing back this classic car, mine is just over three years old and I bought t for £4,000 about a year ago from a friend. The interior is nice and stylish with a big retro dial in the center of the dash board which is easy to read what ever your driving position. The rest of ... Read the complete review

Having been borrowing my girlfriends car while she was holiday without her knowing i think im going to suggest that she swaps me with my skodia. The BMW Mini One has been a deserved success, unlike other "lifestyle" cars (such as the VW Beetle and Tigra) it offers more than a fancy body on standard hatchback. As a driving experience it ... Read the complete review

It took me a whole week to understand why I was so popular, it did eventually dawn on me (having finally read the MINI owner?s manual) that I was now part of the MINI owners club, not being somebody who is used to waving at complete strangers I picked it up surprisingly quickly. I absolutely love my new MINI!!! My last car was ... Read the complete review

Hmmm, the MINI One. I knew the old Mini really well, when I was 18, me and my brother stripped the engine from his 1967 Morris Mini Mk2 and rebuild it. We loved that car, it was really his car but I admit I was jealous. Sure it had its faults but this was seat of your pants motoring, 30 mph felt like 90mph and it would handle like it was on ... BMW-in my eyes have cocked it up big time with this one, as a proud owner of a Rover Mini Cooper I am disgusted by these "efforts" that BMW have produced and stuck the famous Mini name on it! They are almost double the size of an old Mini and look a lot closer to a Ford KA than the classic Mini. Fair play to them for trying to ... Read the complete review

There has been a lot of stuff written about how the Mini isn't as innovative as the old one. That may be true but you won't give a hoot when you drive it. The steering's pin sharp and the wide track gives it excellent road-holding. The brakes are powerful and the car enjoys being driven. This is one car that inspires ... Read the complete review

BMW - a leader in motor vehicles and motorsport events. They make great cars and you rarely find anything wrong about them. With the one exception - The MINI. What does MINI suggest to you - small, compact maybe, well to BMW it means large, comfortable and high-tech. Unlike the original produced by Rover - BMW haven't ... Read the complete review

Okay, imagine the scene, I, a new member of the wonderful world of dooyoo, decide to see what it's all about and look at other peoples opinions. I look down at the catagories and I see one that interests me, Motors. Great I think, I can see what other people think of the new Mini. To my horror I see that everyone is worshiping it and praising ... Read the complete review

BMW have done it. They have taken the old rover mini and made it better. The Germans have had a knack of doing this over the years and they have done it again. To do this they had a job. They had to keep the foibles and quirks that made the old mini so lovable. They had to inject modern styling and performance with the handling to ... Read the complete review

It has finally arrived. The return of the classic and probably most lovable car of its generation, the mini. Launched on July 7th, it is the first small car to be made by german giants BMW. Those of you that have been sceptical about the re-birth of a british icon being made by a German manufacturer shouldn't be. Yes it is different ... Read the complete review
