This is a great car that BMW have that is convienent, spacious and brilliant as a family car. The car is not to bad on fuel consumption for a four by four and alsothe road tax and insurance are also not to bad for the type of car. Well after the Rap scene was over the X-5 obsession it got down to comfort and dependability. The X-5 had very little of any of that. I have had my new X5 for two months now and so far I am not totally impressed. I hate to say this but I have driven a Lexus RX300 for a couple of years and it handled much better not to mention it had alot more gadgets like an on dash computer etc. The RX300 was also alot more intuitive to figure out just where everything is. The X5 3.0 Sport needs to be driven to be properly appreciated. Gone are the traditional rattles,sloppy suspension and less than positive steering.
