Advantages: Nice car, nice looks, spacious and many more

Disadvantages: Dont ever by one in Spain

I have always been a BMW freak and since the arrival of the X5 it hasn't gone away. The BMW X-5 currently has 3 engine types. The 3.0d, 3.0i and the most powerful engine the 4.8i. I currently own the BMW X-5 4.8i AWD and I have to, it is a amazing experience.

Exterior:

The exterior of the car is in one word excellent. The front has improved to the old model as it has been placed higher and the headlight are made bigger for a more aggressive look. The side of the car has increased and has much of the old model. The only down side is the rear which isn't as sporty as it should be on a SUV however it is still very elegant. There is a chose of 6 different rimes and 8 different colours which all fit the car very well. Some additional options are the aerodynamics packet and a bicycle carrier.

Interior:

BMW offers many extras on the inside ranging from different leather seating to rear view camera to see where your going when driving backwards. The interior is roomy and there is enough space for 5 people to sit in comfort. There is enough headroom for tall people and the same goes for leg room both at front and in the back. The space in the boot in large enough to have all baggage needed for a journey of over 4 weeks and large enough to handle your wives shopping (don't know if this is good)(sorry girls).

Driving experience:

I have to say that enjoy every single moment I enter my X-5 and love to travel in it. The share power of the engine makes it easy to go up mountains and take over other cars yet the engine stays calm and gentle. It is great for off-road driving although the car is far to expensive to do so but at-least you can. The car doesn't break down to often as long as your not in Spain and especially not in the Communidad Valenciana as the word client friendly and fix cars does not appear in their dictionary. The only thing they do is put a computer on your car and see what it says. They never check it thatīs why your garenteed to comeback 10 times after your first visit again.

A good start here but if you own the 4.8 engined version, what on earth is the fuel economy like? Lose the spec and reflect on your own experience here.

"Th e car doesn't break down to often as long as your not in Spain."

S o if I was to take a BMW X5 to Spain it would break down?! A bit more detail here on the car living on a day to day basis would be good here.

Especial ly for consumers who may want to drive in Spain and happen to drive a BMW...
