Advantages: nice looking

Disadvantages: it's a dream

The BMW Z3 wow what a car I mean During it's launch in the market in 1996, the BWM Z3 did not need publicity and that the fact it had been James’s bond car certainly did not harm it's sale figures!!!! The Z3 is the result of what Mazda introduced in 1998 with its MX 5: wow a real pleasure to drive at the price of an average 4-door saloon. All the motive you need, with as much passion as possible.

Presented during the Detroit Motor Show, the Z3 was a real innovation for the Bavarians from 2 points of view: it was the first play-car that BMW had mass-produced, thus at a price sustainable for the market, and it was also the first car in the history of the company entirely produced outside Germany.

The Z3, in fact, first saw the light of day at Spartanburg, on east coast of the United States, a judicious choice for reasons of reduced production costs and the proximity of a very important market.

This model can have 4 engines: two 115- and 140-hp four-cylinders, as well as two six-cylinders, one coming from the famous BMW 2.8-litre four-door saloons reaching 193 hp and the begging the famous 3.2-litre 321-hp M3.
The Z3 is based on the chassis of the E36 three series model, with a reduced wheelbase of 25 cm with the axle with slanting triangles from the preceding E30 model. The suspension is independent on the four wheels and operates by torsion bars and oscillating arms in an L-shape at the front.
