Advantages: Ridiculous engine stats, Full leather interior with full ICE

Disadvantages: Outperformed by the McLaren F1, Bugatti are no longer in business

Bugatti have been around for quite some time but the greater percentage of their time was spent in professional races will small effort put into road cars. The knock on effect of this is that when they make a road car, it has some VERY impressive specs about it. The only available engine size for the EB110 is a whopping 3.5 litre V12 with, wait for it, 4 turbos!!! Yes I said 4 turbos, which as far as I can see should mean almost no turbo lag. Apparently not so. Jeremy Clarkson was reputed to have said that for a car that came from the Bugatti legacy it was a "startling let down" compared with what was expected. Hiding behind a ludicrous 18mpg the engine will pull this monster from 0-60mph in just 3.5 seconds. Now, for a car with 4WD, 6 gears and 611BHP going through all four wheels I'm left asking the question, why 3.5 seconds. Sure this is almost brown trousers fast for some people but for any sports car enthusiast the facts seem underrated. Bugatti went out of business in 1996 but the cars they have produced, especially the EB110 will live on as the playthings of the rich and envied. To put this car into perspective, for those of you who have never heard of this car, the main competition for the EB110 is the McLaren F1 which, like the EB110 claims to be a standard road car. The McLaren will do 231MPH as a top speed which slightly shadows the EB110's 222MPH. But as my Grandad always said "who needs to go that fast". ANSWER:- I do.
