Some names have a cache about them that speaks volumes. You have only to utter one of them and everyone instinctively knows exactly what they stand for. With fashion it's names like Dior, Laurent and Chanel, with muscle cars it's Cobra and Corvette. When I was a kid, my mum had an American pen pal who would send me small presents at Christmas time. One year, when I was about nine or ten, I got a model kit of a 1963 Split-Window Corvette. I'd never seen anything like it. The flip-up headlights and gorgeous shape just blew me away.
