The car comes with 3.5L, 3.9L or 5.3L V6 and automatic transmission. It's one of the last remaining full-size automobiles (if not the only one) that can still be ordered with a column shift and pseudo-bench seat up front. You might not notice the Chevrolet Impala out on the streets, but when you do see one, you start to see them everywhere. The current model Impala is one of America's best selling 'domestic' automobiles (although it is constructed in Oshawa, Ontario in Canada) with many bulk sales to corporate and rental fleets.
