I bought a second hand citroen C5 in July 2013, the car was a 2006 plate but only had 40k miles on the clock and from the start I loved it. Having paid just over £3000 for this car I had already got a bargain as it cost £27k when it was new and comes with a host of extras to make a better journey.
Cruise control is a dream, just push the button and the car cruises along at whatever spped you want and cancels easily with a touch of the brakes or clutch.
Just as useful is the spped cap (not sure what it is called) but simple flick the switch on crusie control knob and you can set a maximum speed, very useful for a 30 limit,
Ride quality is like a magic carpet I really do not feel a thing, sometimes this can have a down side of not recognising spped especiialy after coming off a motorway and neally taking corners too quickly.
The onboard trip computer I believe lies to me, It keeps telling me I am getting 51 miles to a gallon but in fact I beleive it to be closer to 40 based on filling up regularly.
Biggest grumble is with the suspension, as this is hydropneumatic it means it is out of my comfort zone to play with and it squeeks all the time, I am ok with the airconditioning and windows rolled up but from outside it sounds horrible, I have taken this into the garage and been told it is dry but because citroen didnt put grease nipples in there isn't much to do about it apart from a bear it as it isn't harmful tot he car or pay for a very expensive suspension overhaul.
