Citroen AX Forte 1.1i!! Ideal first car, fast, sexy and LOW INSURANCE!!! (Citroën AX)

Advantages: Fast, cheap to run and mean looking.....!!!!!

Disadvantages: Easily dented (don't ask me how I found that out), more awkward driving position than in my instructor's Fiesta.

For those of you who don't know, the citroen AX Forte 1.1 is a beefed up looking version of a standard AX. It looks just like the GT but with a slighlty more sedate engine in it, hence the lower insurance.
Perfect for someone like me, A LEARNER DRIVER!!!!!!
The insurnace for this car under my mum's name with me as a named driver would have cost me around £1000 which is not bad but the unfortunate news is, my brother did the same with his car and manage to make 3 claims rocketing my mum's insurance skywards, so the sad truth is I had to insure it under my own name which cost me a mere £2,225!!!!!
I'm only a 17 year old college student and I'm now starting to save up for my insurnace for next year.
Anyway, the car's brill, it definitely moves for a 1.1 even though I can't yet drive it on my own (not yet passed test-fingers crossed) but I'm sure I'll have some fun in it when I have passed.
This car is perfect for your first car, your mates will gawp at it's looks and the insurance won't cost you the Earth.

If you're new to driving (between 17 - 25) buy this car!!!!!
