I am an 18 year old male driver and I learnt to drive in this car when I was 17 as my mum owns it. as a car to learn in its great, small to make manoeuvres easier and a great little town car. Also the insurance wasnt much compared to what my friends pay on other cars as it is insurance group 1, and I actually do get 60MPG out of it which is incredible considering its mainly used for town driving!
But not only is it great for the town but its not too bad on the motorway either, granted being in it for 2/3 hours or more is going to get pretty uncomfortable but it does in other much more expensive cars as well. Only having a 1 litre engine I thought it would be quite slow but it is actually very nippy and doesn't have too bad acceleration as its so light!

Inside is surprisingly spacious and 2 6ft adults can sit in the back quite easily however the boot is veryyy small but for just chucking your shopping in is great. The major downside to this car is that on the 3 door version the angle of the front seats don't return to their original position when you lower them to allow passengers to enter the back, they always return to some awful angle to give you a hunchback!

When my mum was deciding what car to buy she couldnt decide on eaither the 107, C1 or aygo as they are all pretty much the exact same car, in the end she went for the C1 as it was the cheapest, I have friends who own 107's and aygo's and they are exactly the same, so if looking to buy one just go for the cheapest at the time!
