Citroen C3 Engine Mismanagement System (Citroën C3)
Advantages: Cheap Disadvantages: Unreliable We bought one for my wife, second-hand from our local dealership. 20,000 miles on it. It's been a complete nightmare, dodgy front springs, replacement suspension due to poor paint production process at factory, and worst of all ... persistent Engine Management problems. Light always coming on ... faulty accelerator sensor, throttle sensor. Now it's out of warranty they tell us to have it fixed is going to cost £615! I informed them that there was no way I was going to throw yet more good money after bad. Still have a year to pay on it ... NO WAY WILL we EVER buy a Citroen of ANY description ever again. It's got too much technology on board for its own good (i.e. more to go wrong). I will be purchasing a Nissan Micra or a Toyota Yaris. Might vote will be the Japanese and never will we buy French ever again. Cheap tat!! If only their cars were as good as their adverts. Summary: Load of hassle
