Advantages: Spacious design and value for money
Disadvantages: A little plasticky
My wife is the owner of the Citroen C3 1.4 SX in Misty Lilac.
As a 6'2" man of large build, small cars are usualy my biggest pet hate because they are uncomfortable and cramped, however the C3 seems to have been very cleverly designed to not feel as small as it is.
As a driver, i can with relative comfort drive this car for around an hour - this is far more than i can manage in cars like Fiesta, Corsa etc - so for me i am impressed for this reason alone. It has just enough leg room length for my legs to be in the right position and enough height that i dont have to duck.
The seats are reasonably comfotable, covered in a nice soft velour, and the positioning of the seats in relation to all required controls is good, nothing seems to be hard to access or reach.
The car is fairly smooth on a fast road as long as tyres are evenly filled, and it will sit nicley at 70mph without feeling laboured, and it will return a good fuel economy at all times.
On the negative side, nothing major, but the car does feel a little plasticky in some aspects and certainly doesnt feel like a high grade car, but at the price thats fine, its excellent value for money. It isnt as quiet as some cars could be and this is noticable when the window is open.
Overall a good value for money small car that doesnt feel small! Very useful boot space!
Summary: A very safe bet for a cheap car
