C3 Desire by a Student.
Member Name: abijo
Advantages: small, cheap insurance, spacious
I never intended to purchase the C3, but what drew me in most was the cars looks. My previous car was a Peugeot 206, and I was looking for a car with less problems, a car that would be reliable. Because I encountered many problems with my 206, I didn't trust Peugeot, so I looked at other makes.
I'm a student so it needed to be cheap and small. But I didn't want any banger, it also had to look good.
I spotted the C3 at a local garage. I liked how it looked so me and my dad went to have a closer look. I really liked it, outside and in, so we looked around until we found a good deal on one.
My C3 has given me NO PROBLEMS. It is 2003 and has done 35000 miles so pretty old, but works perfectly. My speed is displayed on the dashboard digitally, so you know EXACTLY how fast you are going. The amount of petrol left is also digitally displayed, as well as a warning light for when it is low, so there is no confusion as to how much is left.
It is reliable as I have had it 6 months now and had no problems. I've drove from Yorkshire to Alton Towers and back, and from Yorkshire to Skegness and back, and it has been fine. Nothing has broken since I've had it.
The boot is pretty spacious, as well as the leg room. I was worried at first that there would hardly be any leg room, especially at the back, as my family are all generally rather big, but it is actually more spacious than it looks. The seats are comfortable, and there are lots of draws and shelves to put things in (e.g sweets, makeup etc!).
Overall, I am really happy with this car, and the fact that it is cheap insurance is a bonus!
Summary: a small and comfortable car, perfect for students and those looking for cheap insurance!
