Advantages: GOOD BUILT IN FEATURES AND COMFORTABLE
Disadvantages: STEERING PULLING TO THE LEFT, PLUS RADIO RDS KEEPS COMING BACK ON.
6 weeks ago, I purchased a new Citroen C4 SX Automatic Diesel. Too date I have been very satisfied with the performance of the car,and it is packed with lots of features.
However, the car has been back 3 times now to two different Citroen dealers wherby the car keeps on pulling to the left. The dealers keep on saying that it's down to the canver of the road, which I cannot accept.
I have now involved Citroen uk, and if need be will get in touch with Citroen in France.
Would owners of Citroen C4's please let me know if you are having the same problem?
BF

- 23/11/07 I had this problem. It was due to my having a puncture on the front offside and having to replace the tyre. The original tyre type was obsolete so the newer version was fitted which has a different tread pattern. The dealer checked out the steering etc etc and eventually put the back tyres on the front so they had the same tread pattern. Problem sorted. Seems an odd one so it appears that if you need to replace a tyre, make sure the front wheels have the same tread. I was lucky still having the originals on the back, guess you could end up with having to buy 2 new fron tyres. As regards the car itself, I have a SX HDi hatch and I'm delighted with it. 65mpg and comfortable ! |
