inexpensive, not cheap (Citroën Saxo 1.0i 3-door)
Member Name: callaghanmatt
Advantages: Cheap to buy & run Disadvantages: Not high performance
First of all we need to establish that this car is one of the cheapest on the market. For mine I paid £6000. For this money you are not going to expect huge amounts, just something that get you from A to B and is confortable and practical. The Saxo is all of these. No it is not a very quick car, no it is not huge but for the money you pay you certainly get value. The cars looks are not at all bad the driving position is not too cramped and although the accelaration is not huge for the size of the engine nor is it a let down. Handling of the car does not seem to be a problem and I would expect that for the majority of owners it is not a vital aspect as goes for most of the performance stats. This car is usually only going to driven short distances, to work and back or to do the shopping. For those purposes it is hard to fault. If you are looking for a car that does much more than this then you need to look else where but for the lower end of the market as it is I think that it would be a crime to overlook it. Summary: |
