Advantages: Very cheap

Disadvantages: Gets overtaken a lot

Give me a Saxo over a MG any day. There's about a £20k price difference, a massive gap in insurance costs, and you can't take 5 people to play golf in a MG.

Generally Saxo owners don't care too much about cars. They don't obsess over the magazine shelves, video Top Gear, or kerb crawl in Luton. Saxo owners are good, honest folk who recognise a car for what it is - getting from A to B, via Sainsburys.

My Saxo "East Coast" has got multi-coloured seatbelts, a powerful CD player, 5 gears, and a top-speed of approximately 90 miles per hour. I don't actually give a toss about any of that, the main thing is that when the key turns in the ignition, gear put into reverse, and pedal pushed - the car moves.
