Not the best (Citroën Saxo 1.1i 3-door)

I bought a Saxo 1.1 a year and a half ago from a dealer in Glasgow.
It seems like a nice car and don't get me wrong - it is a nice car for the money. It has basic features and a nice interior but I found the brakes to be a bit of a bummer. They are extremelly hard and terrible at stopping you - I'll just repeat that TERRIBLE!
If this was your first car then you might not notice it as much but if you have driven something else then you will - and you won't like it.
Saxo also refuse to admit that there is anything wrong with the brake setup it's just the way they are - so be warned TRY OTHERS first as this could be a major reason NOT to buy it - it's a shame as the rest of the car is quite nice.
My verdict - try the clio or Punto
