Advantages: Never, ever let me down

Disadvantages: Some people commented that it's quite low compared with other cars

This is a great little car!

I bought mine used from a Citroen dealer in 2000 when it was two years old. It cost me 5k but it was my first car. I was only 19 and literally insured it within 24 hours of passing my test, I think it was about 800 fully comp which sounds like a lot but I had 0 no claims bonus and a very very new licence.

Eight years on, I only sold it last week but it totally did me proud. I fully abused it, I never had it serviced, I think the brakes were changed once and I had one new exhaust but it never broke down, never ever let me down.

It was really economical, I think I could get about 100 miles out of a tenners worth of petrol and the insurance obviously got cheaper and cheaper.

I ran it into the ground completely and really didn't look after it well. My Dad fixes cars for a living and even he was amazed that it was still running given the lack of care on my part but, despite all the abuse I landed on it, it was the most reliable little car ever! I was sorry to see it go but after 8 years and no service, the power steering finally died about a month ago and I decided it was time for a new one. I sold it to a guy who's going to restore it to it's former glory and sell it on. Long may she live!

Summary: Despite all the abuse I dished out, this baby kept on going at a very economical rate!
